2025 E.A. Robinson Lecture in Science Education at UTM (or via Zoom)

The University of Toronto Mississauga cordially invites you to attend — in-person or virtually — the 2025 E.A. Robinson Lecture in Science Education, an endowed lectureship in honour of a former Principal and Chemistry professor at UTM.   The lecture is on Friday March 28 at 2:30 pm in room CC2150 CCT Building, UTM.  The speaker is Professor Pierre Chastenay (UQAM), a leader in astronomy education, outreach, and communication in Canada.  His awards and honours fill two pages in his c.v., single-spaced, and include membership in the Order of Canada.  He will be speaking on “Learning Science: One Misconception at a Time.  The talk should be of interest and value to anyone doing teaching or outreach.
