Title: Building a Dream Team: UTM Astronomy + RASC Mississauga Centre
Talk Synopsis: Over the past several years, we’ve been building a strong partnership between the RASC Mississauga Centre and the UTM Astronomy Community. I’ll discuss some of the events and ideas we’ve worked on over the past few years, including our annual UTM Astronomy Night, ongoing progress towards constructing a permanent campus observatory, collaborations on monthly speaker series and potpourri talks, and ideas for more ways to connect our communities. I’m also excited to hear ideas from the Mississauga Centre community, especially ideas for substantive ways to connect UTM students with the datasets and expertise of RASC members. Please bring your own ideas!
