- Meade LX3, 200mm Schmitt-Cassegrain (SCT) Optical Tube (built in circa. 1993 / 1994)
- Forked equatorial mount (Only the declination motor is working so point and peek)
- Tripod with equatorial wedge design

- 1.25″ Barlow Lens
- 1.25” 12.4mm, 26mm, and 36mm Super Plössl Eyepieces; 1.25” 8.5mm—21mm zoom eyepiece
- 1.25″ Star Diagonal
- Optical Finder Scope
- Good optics – The secondary mirror was re-silvered in the spring of 2025. The primary mirror has been cleaned and the optical tube has been reassembled and collimated.
Auction Rules:
This is a silent auction open to both members and non-members. All proceeds go to the RASC Mississauga Centre.
- Opening bid is $250 CAD
- People can make any number of bids.
- Bidding starts on Friday December 5, 2027.
- Bidding closes on Friday January 2, 2027.
- The latest high-bid will be updated on this page manually as soon as possible. Be sure to check back to see if you want to up your bid.
- Each bid requires: email address, first name, last name, and bid amount.
- If at the end of the auction there are multiple people with the same bid-amount, one person will be chosen at random (names-in-a-hat method).
- As the winner of the bid, you will be responsible for sending an e-Transfer to the Mississauga Centre for the full amount.
- If you refuse your winning bid, it will go to the next bid of lower or equal value.*
- It will be up to you to arrange pick-up of the telescope in Etobicoke.
* Note: Failure to respond within 7 days of being notified about your winning bid forfeits your bid and the next person in sequence will be notified.
