Riverwood Galleries

During our public Star Parties, we use a Unistellar electronic telescope.  It automatically combines multiple digital images to provide a view of deep space objects that we can explore and talk about which would not otherwise be possible in a light polluted city.

Each gallery below contains images from an individual Riverwood event.

Skies were clear, seeing good though the Moon was near full. The C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) was visible and seen for the first time by some attendees.

A variable high-cloud layer made it difficult for the Unistellar to plate-solve on occasion.  Variable Seeing.
